Department of Peace - Some Facts

The campaign to establish a Department of Peace DOP (http://www.thepeacealliance.org) has broad support, with 60 cosponsors in congress thus far. It is also supported by journalist Walter Cronkite,  Willie Nelson, Flea of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Joaquin Phoenix, Tyne Daly and others. There is a grassroots campaign of ordinary citizens, like myself, working in all 50 states for the passage of this extraordinary bill.
